Parnassos Ski Center

For 30 years Parnassos welcomes winter sports fans in the largest and best organized Ski Center in the country at two locations, Kelaria and Fterolakka.
The construction of Parnassos Ski Center began in 1975 and was completed in 1976, when Fterolakka facilities began operating. In 1981, the construction of Kelaria facilities was completed, whereas in 1987-1988, the linking lift between Fterolakka and Kelaria, "Ermis", was put into operation. In 1993, the first four-seat aerial lift in Greece, the modern "Iraklis" was added to Kelaria 1950. In total, there are 13 lifts available:
Six aerial, six tow lifts and one four-seat telecabin. Two learner baby-lifts are available for beginners to assist them in their first skiing or snowboarding attempts. There are 18 ski runs totalling 22 kilometres. The ski runs vary between 320 meters to 4 km in length, and cover all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders.
Constructions are scheduled for next year at the premises of Fterolakka, such as the renovation of the building, which will improve the ski runs.
Keep in mind that Parnassos is not just skiing. Nearby Arachova welcomes you with warm chalets, traditional hostels or luxurious hotels and will offer you a large variety of activities for the after ski hours.
Shops with ski clothing and outfits, restaurants with selected flavours, taverns with local atmosphere and traditional cuisine, cafés that serve decoctions in the evenings and at night turn into trendy bars and clubs will keep you awake and high till early in the morning.
